Overall, none is superior compared to the other, and both actually enrich each other's character :) Physically, the characters are also filled with contrast: black/blonde hair, tall/short, sexy/cute, dark/light colored eyes/ subdued/bright clothes, chest/no chest. In personality, both have their similarities: kindness, strength, devotion, but one is always rather aggressive and insecure while the other is more passive but more sure of herself.

Sheena is always cursed with bad luck too.īasically, the commonality between the two characters is how they are both expected to overcome a trial/test to prove their worth, but the trial demands way too much of the children in both cases. While she was happily adopted by her grandfather, tragedy soon struck when Sheena had to tame volt when she was under ten years old, and the resulting chaos led to a fourth of the village population dying and everyone pretty much blaming her for it, and her only family went into a coma. Sheena was abandoned by her blood family and left in the forest to die when she was a baby. Colette is always blessed with great luck even though she is clumsy, and everybody in the town loves her. She also had many people around her that were roughly her age. She had both a father and a mother, and she lived in the one place in Sylverant that had a non-aggression treaty with the desians, so they lived in a relatively peaceful and happy environment.
